Invoking a feeling of warmth and nostalgia for one of the most eclectic eras in fashion, Field of Dreams imagines a time and place before digital technology, before complications. A place where you can just sit and daydream and enjoy the sun. The photoshoot takes inspiration from the surrealism movement of the 70s and blends vivid, eye-catching retro garments with vast agricultural surroundings. With cloud-dotted skies and unreal colours against soft, dream-like backgrounds, our model looks like she's woken up in another time and place.

The shoot was captured at the iconic location of Queensland's Scenic Rim, at The Scenic Rim Flower Farm, where flowers, grasses and wheat are grown sustainably, and for a 2-week fleeting period every year, daisies bloom out the back of the property. Being amongst them is an entirely bittersweet experience. Like a nice dream, they fade and disappear before you know it.

Ellie our model wears five different looks, adorning a mix of couture and second-hand vintage, including retro accessories such as a 1970s Minolta film camera and avant-garde sunglasses. Bright flair pants and loud eclectic patterns draw in the eye, allowing the viewer visual breathing space in the surrounding landscape. The graphic, bold eyeliner, yellow, and later pink is another nod to 70s culture and style.
